Traditional Chinese medicine holds the theory that a womans body
must be gently nourished and encouraged to bear fruit.
Acupuncture offers women and their partners the opportunity to prepare for
conception by optimising their health. Fertility focused acupuncture treatment
has been found to increase blood flow to the reproductive organs, balance
hormone levels, regulate the menstrual cycle and help improve the lining of the
uterus and the quality of eggs. This can greatly increase the capacity for
conception.
There can be many and varied causes of infertility. These can range from an irregular menstrual
cycles, history of miscarriage, to lack of ovulation, polycystic ovarian
syndrome and endometriosis.
In Males it can be due to poor sperm production or poor sperm motility.
There are different
treatment methods for infertility including Acupuncture, herbal therapy and of
course general lifestyle advice. Here at Zen Den, Michael will determine which
method or combination of methods is best suited for your individual condition.
