With a long term commitment to the study of martial arts, Michael made a natural progression to the healing arts through his insight into Chinese philosophy and the understanding of how the energy (Qi) flows through the body.
He achieved a degree in Acupuncture through a 4 year program of studies at the Australian College of Natural Medicine. He furthered his skills while working at a hospital in China under the supervision of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) professors, refining his skills in traditional acupuncture techniques and expanding his knowledge in other areas of TCM by completing a two year course in Chinese herbs. Michael also holds a post graduate masters degree in acupuncture, focusing on women’s health and fertility.
Michael is a member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese medicine association (AACMA).
As with all good practitioners, Michael keeps his finger on the pulse, especially in the field of women’s health and fertility. He is constantly striving to keep abreast of developments in the field by pursuing further studies and keeping up to date with all the latest research.
